Orchid Packaging

We carefully pack every orchid to ensure it arrives in the same excellent condition in which it leaves our nursery. During transport, we protect not only the plant and its flowers, but also the root system and growing medium. Thanks to several proven protective measures, we minimize the risk of damage during handling and shipping.

1. Protection of the Growing Medium and Roots

Each pot is fitted with a protective mesh that securely holds the bark substrate inside the pot and prevents it from spilling during transport. The mesh also provides additional protection against small insects entering the substrate.

Upon delivery, the mesh can be easily removed. However, if you do not mind its appearance, it can remain on the pot permanently without affecting the plant's growth or health. This is purely a matter of personal preference and aesthetics.

   

2. Securing the Plant in the Pot

To prevent the plant from becoming loose during transit, each orchid is secured with a paper band. This keeps the plant firmly in place while remaining gentle on the roots and leaves.

3. Protective Cellophane Sleeve

The entire plant, including the flowers, is placed inside a protective cellophane sleeve. This helps protect the leaves, flower spikes, and blooms from scratches or mechanical damage during handling and transportation.

4. Stabilization Inside the Shipping Box

For maximum protection, each orchid is secured with a support stake that prevents movement inside the shipping box. This keeps the plant stable throughout its journey and protects it from shocks and vibrations.

Every order is packed by hand with great attention to detail. The combination of protective mesh, paper securing band, cellophane sleeve, and support stake ensures that your orchid arrives safely and is ready to be enjoyed immediately after unpacking.

Although we take every precaution when packing our orchids, unexpected situations can occasionally occur during transport.

If you notice any damage to the plant or packaging upon delivery, please contact us as soon as possible at deluxeorchids@gmail.com. To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include photographs of the plant, pot, and shipping box.
