Choisir les options
Choose a bright spot away from direct sunlight: an east- or west-facing window is ideal, or 1–2 metres from a south-facing window. Direct midday sun can scorch leaves and flowers.
Keep away from draughts, radiators and fruit bowls, as the gases released by ripening fruit make flowers drop sooner.
Water roughly every 7–10 days, when the roots in the clear pot turn silvery grey. Green roots mean there is still moisture.
The best method is to soak the pot in room-temperature water for 10–15 minutes, then let it drain completely.
⚠️ Never leave water standing in the decorative pot, and keep water out of the centre of the leaves.
Ideal temperature is 18–27 °C by day, not below 15 °C at night. Phalaenopsis love 50–70% humidity: in dry rooms, place the pot on a tray of clay pebbles and water, without the pot touching the water. Do not mist the flowers directly.
